still, to hear her tender taken breath (a mix: the hint of the spark)

so. bright star.  i watched  this amazing, amazing movie a few weeks, and fell head over heels in love with it!  it is absolutely one of the most gorgeous films i've ever seen; it's heartbreaking and beautiful and so, so sincere.  and, true to form, i decided i had to make a mix for it. =) i worked on it right after i watched the movie, and then set it aside for a bit to ferment.  i was looking through my playlists, because i wanted to post a mix today, and i found this one again.  i tweaked it a bit, and so here it is!  but really.  the movie is fantastic.  go watch.  then come talk to me so we can cry together about how their love is SO TRAGIC. *sniffles*

and, the original poem by John Keats, in case you want it:

Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.
